Yesterday was the first reading day for the read-a-thon Bout of Books 9.0, the first one that I'm participating. Let's see my progress yesterday:
Number of books I read yesterday: 151
Total number of pages I've read: 151
Books: 0
So, I read 151 pages yesterday, 100 from Orlando Furioso and 51 from The Fault in Our Stars. (Yes, I'm that weird kind of person that reads more than one book at once).
Today I won't have as much time as yesterday to read, but I'll try my best! I'll update tomorrow!

The Beginning - Bout of Books 9.0
Hello internet!
My name is Thalita, I'm a Brazilian bookworm! I decided to start this blog to write about the books I read as a way to make a sort of reading journal to myself, and I hope other people my enjoy reading it too!
To begin with let's talk about the GoodReads Reading Challenge 2014! Last year I challenged myself to read 50 books, which I didn't do. I read only 34 of the intended 50. So this year, I'm once again challenging myself to read 50 books, because I know I can do this if I stop procrastinating and read! I'll keep you updated on my progress!
The second thing I want to about is that I'll be joining the Bout of Books 9.0. And what exactly is that? Here goes:
My goals for the Bout of Books are the following:

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 6th and runs through Sunday, January 12th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 9.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books teamI'm not sure I'm going to be able to read much because I'm preparing for a rather long trip so I might not have much time to read, but I'll do my best! This is the first time I join a read-a-thon, and I'm really excited about it. The first book I'll be reading is Orlando Furioso by Ludovico Ariosto, translated to English by Barbara Reynolds. I've actually already started reading this; I'm on page 345 out of 827, so I think it's not problem reading this for the Bout of Books; I'll not add the pages I have already read to the challenge page count, of course!
